Mad Honkers is a hybrid IDM project built on instrumental remixes of Fritz Bonko tracks. Rather than starting from a blank page, the project takes existing Fritz Bonko material apart and rebuilds it from the inside, stretching and reshaping rhythms until the source becomes something else entirely. The goose-with-a-halo logo sets the tone: equal parts reverent and ridiculous. For listeners already into Fritz Bonko's catalogue, this is the project that shows the same songs from a different angle.
